Institute on Aging is proud to offer Continuing Education Credits for a variety of disciplines and professions.
IOA Monthly Professional Trainings:
Our monthly professional trainings offer CE credits to professionals holding licenses in BBS, Psychology and BRN. Please remember to bring your license number to the event in order to receive a CE credit certificate
Continuing Education Board Approval List:
A.) For LCSWs/MFTs: 1) CE Provider: Institute on Aging, 2) Provider #PCE-2079.
B.) For Registered Nurses: 1) CE Provider: Institute on Aging 2) Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP-13610.
C.) For Psychologists: 1) CE Provider: IOA is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. IOA maintains responsibility for the program and its content.

Continuing education credits are available for attendees licensed in a field or profession from one of the boards or associations listed below. If you are not sure whether your licensing organization will accept IOA continuing education, please contact your licensing organization for clarification.
Continuing Education Board Approval List:
Care/Case Managers
The National Academy of Certified Care Managers (NACCM) will
accept proof of attendance toward continuing education requirements for
re-certification of CMC(Care Manager Certified).
Fiduciaries
CE credits awarded through the California Board of Registered Nursing
(BRN) meet the prelicensuring and continuing education requirements of
the Professional Fiduciary Association of California (PFAC), as stated
in section 4446. Insititute on Aging is approved by the California Board
of Registered Nursing, provider #CEP-13610.
MFTs/LCSWs
IOA is an approved provider of continuing education for MFTs and LCSWs
for the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, Provider #PCE-2079.
Nurses
IOA is an approved provider of continuing education for the California
Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP-13610.
Psychologists
IOA is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing
education for psychologists. IOA maintains responsibility for this program
and its content.
Assisted Living Facilities Administrators (Residential Care Facilities Administrators)
Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLEs)
To receive CE Credits: Fully complete and return the CE Credit packet available on-site at the IOA Registration Desk. 6.0 hours of credit will be provided for each educational program. Cost is $15 for CE Credits for each educational program.
