The programs were designed to give professionals the multidisciplinary understanding essential for navigating the complex system of services available to older adults.

Discovering Secrets of the Aging Mind

Institute on Aging (IOA) 2007/2008 series Discovering Secrets of the Aging Mind drew on expertise within IOA as well as noted presenters from the larger community. This unique series of educational programs was designed to give participants a better understanding of how to recognize and deal with organic brain diseases and the mental health issues that affect the behavior and ultimately the quality of life of older adults.
